Little Pinks

I don’t know what these are.  They are growing along with a lot of other grasses on the lot next door.  They are so bright!  Hope they brighten you day like they did mine!  Adjusted levels, used High Pass filter and burned.

Camera settings: F/9, 1/320, ISO 1600, focal length 55 mm.  No flash.

  1. My day is always a bit brighter after visiting your blog! 🙂 These are just delightful…that color is brilliant!

  2. This is really beautiful. Love the contrast between this shade of pink and green. And your DOF is perfect. Any more or less would just not be as great.

  3. I don’ tkow what they are, either, but your photo of them just sparkles. The focus of the two lower flowers is pin-sharp, and that lovely fuschia glows against the green.

  4. Hi, Doris. Glad to be blogging with you…especially since you seem to favor bright, beautiful flowers – something we in the dreary Midwest are sorely lacking! Lovely colors on this one!

  5. Lovely, Doris! On top of the pretty pop of color, I like how the focus fades in from top to bottom of the frame. Your camera seems to handle the high ISO admirably, by the way. Not sure I would have been able to do that without noise…
