I took a photo of Cody and pushed it to get this graphic result. In Photoshop Elements 6, I used a sketch filter and tweaked the settings to get the exposure that I liked. I burned out distracting background lighting. The eyes were done on several layers. The blue was applied, then the layer multiplied, lowered opacity and a hint of erasure. I made a whisker brush and added a couple of whiskers to the left side. Hope you like it!
Though not now affiliated with any group for 2011, I will continue to post from time to time. I hope a few of you will continue to stop by and share your thoughts. Today, I took this photo of Cody in the window. I took the shot by taking the reflection in the bathroom mirror. Only natural light was used and only levels processing in Photoshop Elements 6. Hope you all have had a great start to 2011!
Cody, my daughter’s new kitten. I touched up some flash reflection in his eyes and did a Gaussian blur vignette using the lasso tool with a 200 pixel feather. Processed in Photoshop Elements 6, I used a high pass filter and levels adjustment. Cody came from a local animal shelter and is such a doll.
