Droplets

Raindrops on grass blades.  Processed in Photoshop Elements with adjusted levels and a high pass filter.  This was hand held with my little Fujifilm camera.  Hope you all have the best New Year ever!  Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the 2010 Photowalk.  It’s been a blast.

Camera settings: Fujifilm FinePix S700, F/3.5, 1/80 sec., ISO 800, focal length 6.3 mm.  No flash.

Raindrops on Roses

Processed in Photoshop Elements 6 by adjusting levels and adding a high pass filter.  This is the last burst of blooms before my rose bushes go dormant.

Camera settings: Canon Rebel EOS T1i, F/4.5, 1/400 sec., ISO 100, focal length 37 mm.  No flash.

Droplets

Two photos that I took today because it was showery outside.  This afternoon it kind of dried out and I got these photos.  #1 is droplets on an iris leaf.  #2 is raindrops on a tiny spiderweb in my lavender plants.  Have a good week everyone.  Both were processed in Photoshop Elements with just adjusting levels and a high pass filter.

#1Camera settings: Canon T1i, F/6.3, 1/320 sec., ISO 400, focal length 123 mm.  No flash.

#2Camera settings: Canon T1i, F/6.3, 1/40 sec., ISO 400, focal length 250 mm.  No flash.

Unexpected

Probably not what you expected to see today!  Acrylic paint in water.  Photo turned 180 degrees and cropped.  Processed in Photoshop Elements with desaturation and sharpening.  Adjusted levels and finished in OnOne Photo Essentials 3 with Bleach Bypass.    The light streaks are present as I wasn’t being careful about what lighting was in back of me.  (Oh well, I learned!).

Camera settings: F/5.6, 1/25 sec., ISO 800,  focal length 36 mm.  No flash.
