Another of my new irises. I had to take this shot at an angle as the recent rains had knocked it down. Photo taken in early evening with overcast skies. Processed in Elements 6 with High Pass and dodged and burned.
Took this at the same time I took the eucalyptus silhouette. This is our maple tree in partial silhouette. I used my little Fujifilm camera and it was a little harder to fool it into getting the shot. One of the great articles on silhouettes that were posted on the 2010 Virtual Photowalk home page suggested pushing down the shutter release partway while pointing towards the light area, then moving back to the dark areas to finish the release and get the shot. This seemed to work for me. This photo was processed with Topaz Clean and a 50% peach color gradient set on Overlay.
Sculpture at California State University – Fresno. Taken today at Fresno State Vintage Days. I always look forward to Vintage Days as it is crafts, food and fun at the college campus. This photo was processed with Topaz Adjust HDR sketch.

This cars sits a few miles from us and I have been wanting to take a photograph of it for some time. Today I finally stopped and took a few shots. I had to shoot through the cyclone fence, but it worked out ok. The orange color was just so dynamic! I processed with Topaz Clean and ReMask. It was also cropped, rotated and dodged and burned. Added some white lines and script for some contrast and depth. Hope you like it.
