Hiway 41 Barn

Oddly enough, I took this one going 55 and out of the car window.  (Again, I wasn’t driving!)   Processed in Photoshop Elements 6 with adjusted levels followed by Filter/Brush Strokes/Angled Strokes.  I then added two layers of concrete texture on Overlay.  So many times it seems the great shot is somewhere where you can’t stop.  So frustrating!  🙂

Figs

Summer in the Fresno area definitely means figs.  I believe Fresno County is the largest producer of figs in the U.S.  This little tree is in our yard and always gives us more than we can use.  Photo was processed in Photoshop Elements by adjusting levels, cropping and using an India Ink overlay by Flaming Pear.  Kind of gives an illustration look to the photo.  It has been real pleasant here the last week (in the low 90’s).  It is supposed to heat up this coming week.  I can hardly wait for fall to come around.  Summers are always too hot and too long here!   Hope you all are keeping cool and enjoying your summer.
