Nature reveals patterns and layers so often in the forms of flowers.   This calendula in my front yard shows the beauty found in these layers.

Taken with natural light on an overcast day, this photo was processed using Topaz Detail to bring out crispness and tonality.  Topaz Simplify buz sim was then used to soften and accentuate colors.  Light burning was used around the flower to focus attention while still leaving some foilage for framing.  Hope this brings a little sunshine to those of you with too much snow!
