Apple Blossom Macro

Image

More fruit blossoms!  This is an apple blossom from our Fuji apple tree.  I shot this with my 100mm lens and it was hand held.  Settings were: f/5, 1/1000 sec., ISO 100.  Just adjusted levels and added a round of Topaz Detail.  Hope you are having a great weekend!

Secret

Oh boy, another rose!  I tried doing something a little different with this one.  I used flash when taking this photo.  Processed in Photoshop Elements with adjusted levels.  Run through Topaz Detail with dynamic range equalization filter.  Product was then burned and the saturation was reduced to 75%.

Camera settings: Canon T1i, F/5, 1/60 sec., ISO 400, focal length 123 mm.  Flash fired.

Ground Level 2

This is an old Tonka dump truck that is about 25 years old.  I processed this shot in Photoshop Elements with Topaz Detail.  I adjusted the medium and large details sliders up.  Levels were adjusted and two textures were added on top.  One on Overlay and one on Multiply but at 50% Opacity.  I thought about doing a cross process on this one but I liked the way the peeling paint showed up on this one so there you are!!  A little travel back to the 80’s.

Camera settings: Canon T1i, F/5. 6, 1/60 sec., ISO 160,  focal length 49 mm.   No flash.
