Oak Leaf

This kind of fit for Sharp, but I thought that was stretching things a bit!  This oak leaf on the ground was processed in Photoshop Elements 6 by adjusting levels, adding a high pass filter and burning.   Taken with the macro setting of my FinePix camera.

Camera settings: Fujifilm FinePix S700, F/3.5, 1/75 sec., ISO 64, focal length 6.3 mm.  No flash.

  1. In the Military that is a symbol of repeated Valour!

  2. You did an outstanding job, Doris! The green is wonderful and the details such as the veins in the leaf really stand out. I have trouble with burning but you did an excellent job-really accentuates the leaf.

  3. I love the way that you make this sharply detailed oak leaf stand out from the background. Nice macro and great post processing… per usual!

    Fabulous clarity!!!!

  5. Great leaf. It contrasts well with the background.
