Bluejay

This scrub jay has been in my front yard fighting with the resident mockingbirds.  In another month robins may be joining in as well!  Feisty bunch!  Ran this through Topaz Adjust and put a motion blur around the edges.

Camera settings: F/5.6, 1/320 sec., ISO 125, focal length 250 mm.

This looks like one of those stained glass window hangings! I love the frame – it really brings out the colors in the image!

  4. The framing is very distinctive–almost like a lens.

  5. I like the idea of the lens or maybe looking through a window. Very creative, I would frame that one.

  6. It is a piece of art. It looks so much like spring. It gives me hope of a warmer day.

  7. Another awesome image Doris!! Are you going to give classes on all these great treatments you come up with? Sign me up.

  8. Lovely photo. Framing is superb.

  9. Reminds me of the glass ornaments that we hang in our window. Very nice work and framing.
