Lacy plumes of goldenrod bloom in the meadows of Yosemite Valley. Processed in Photoshop Elements by adjusting levels and burning. I also added just a touch of Topaz Simplify.

Took me a while to get this one right. I used my tripod and a remote shutter release to capture these cherry tomatoes. Overhead kitchen light, window light and flash were all used in this photo. Processed in Photoshop Elements, the photo was cropped and a high pass filter applied.
Camera settings: Canon T1i, F/5, 1/60 sec., ISO 400, focal length 39 mm. Flash fired.

A wildflower processed in Photoshop Elements with my own texture, Topaz Detail, adjusted levels and burning. Hope you like it! The texture was applied over the photo at 75% overlay.

Yellow freesias in diffused light. They seem to photograph better in low light rather than harsh sunlight. This photo is just processed with a light amount of high pass and some light burning. I should have some roses soon! Yay.

Don’t know what this little guy is. He’s an Oddity here in Central California. He must be another of the many species that just pass through this time of year. He was very cooperative as he fed on the seeds from our dormant crepe myrtle. I also liked the Topaz Simplify watercolor version and included it also as #2. Just adjusted levels and burned quite a bit on #1.

I can’t resist these daffodils now that they are in full bloom. This one is backlit with afternoon light today. I adjusted levels, saturation and burned. I’ll try to get back to the theme list tomorrow!!
