Tulips are just starting to bloom here. I processed this in PSE6 with adjusted levels, sharpened and then high pass sharpened again. Topaz Adjust was applied and then a layer of Smart Blur at 50% Opacity was applied over that to soften the grunge look a little. Hope you like it. Have a great weekend.

These are my early daffodils which are blooming already. I captured these in late afternoon light and then applied the Orton effect in Photoshop Elements 6. It was beautiful and around 70 degrees here today. Rain is on the way, though.

This grapevine is quite old and is pretty gnarled. The canes need to be trimmed and it is in general disarray! Processed in Photoshop Elements 6 by changing to b/w, adjusting levels and dodging and burning. (I should be out working in the yard!

This kind of fit for Sharp, but I thought that was stretching things a bit! This oak leaf on the ground was processed in Photoshop Elements 6 by adjusting levels, adding a high pass filter and burning. Taken with the macro setting of my FinePix camera.

Just out today taking some photos of the last roses of the season. This rose I decided to process with a bokay texture. The texture was applied as a layer in Photoshop Elements 6 and I played around with blending modes before coming up with this result. Hope you all have a great week!

Pink crepe myrtle. Processed in Photoshop Elements with high pass filter and burned. Overcast skies today helped with the overall color and exposure. I went with a higher ISO because it was overcast and a larger aperture to get a more shallow depth of field.
