Went to Woodward Park with the family today.  The breeze kept me from getting very good reflections, but the sparkles of light in the late afternoon were worth waiting for.  I processed this photo in Photoshop Elements 6 with a levels adjustment, an unsharp mask and Filter/Distort/Diffuse Glow.  I then dodged and burned the final photo. Camera settings: f/6.3, 1/400 sec., focal length 21 mm, ISO 64.  Taken with my Fujifilm FinePix S700.

I bought and installed Photoshop Elements 10 but I am not sure yet if it was a wise purchase.  I have become so comfortable with PSE6.  The good price at Costco was too hard to pass up, however!  So I will fiddle with it and see how I like it.  (I hate getting used to new software! :) )

Kinda stretching this one as we haven’t had enough cold weather to really change the leaves on our trees much.  This photo was processed in Photoshop Elements 6 with adjusted levels, unsharpen mask and Topaz Adjust 5 Release Candidate.  This should be the last beta before the new Topaz Adjust 5 is released.  I used a custom preset of my own in processing this photo.  Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Camera settings: f/6.3, 1/100 sec., focal length 49 mm, and ISO 100.  No flash.

Woodward Park

This photo was processed using the Orton effect in Photoshop Elements 6.  I adjusted levels which really helped to bring out the colors in the trees.  The final product was burned and framed.  It is supposed to rain tomorrow which might knock a lot of leaves off of the trees.  Fall is finally here.

Camera settings: Fujifilm FinePix S700, F/4.5, 1/220 sec., ISO 64, focal length 21.3 mm.  No flash.
