Peach Blossoms

With this photograph I used several layers and steps to produce the final result.  I adjusted levels, applied Topaz Simplify buz sim, duplicated, changed to b/w (newspaper), used filter/stylize/find edges, set blend mode to linear burn at 70% opacity and burned.  All done in Photoshop Elements 6.  The edge was created using a white stipple [...]

Apricot Blossoms II

Overcast and gloomy today.  However, I have better luck with white blossoms if it is not so bright outside.  Here are some more apricot blossoms from my front yard.  I adjusted levels and added a zoom blur. Camera settings: F/4.0, 1/180 sec., ISO 64, focal length 6.3 mm.  No flash.
