One of my last rose bushes to bloom this fall. This photo was processed in Photoshop Elements 6 and Topaz Adjust. I made a custom preset in Topaz Adjust to get the warm, antique-like look. Other than that, it is just cropped and sharpened. I had a tough time getting shots today because it was kind of windy. Camera settings: f/5, 1/50 sec., focal length 44 and ISO 125. I am beta testing the new Topaz Adjust 5 and love the new settings and flexibility that is built in. It should be available soon.

That’s beautiful. I have not tried creating any custom presets in Adjust. Could you give me an idea of how you did that?
Thanks, Gisele! Do you have Topaz B/W Effects? If you do, the preset choices are very similar in design. There are three Adjustment categories: 1. Global Adjustments 2. Local Adjustments and 3. Finishing Touches. Each of these categories has 4 to 7 different settings within each one so there are tons of ways to customize each of your photos.
These Adjustment categories will be available in the next upgrade of Topaz Adjust. Honestly, I just fooled around with settings until I got something I liked and then saved it as a custom preset. I call it Vintage. Hope this helps a little. If you ever want to know all the exact settings, just let me know and I will send them your way. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate it.
And Spring is just around the corner (Big Corner) LOL
Thanks Ron! That is a real big corner!! LOL
This is absolutely beautiful. Looks just like the roses I had in my wedding bouquet
Thanks, Doris, for explaining….but I’m not sure if I read it correctly. Are you using adjustments that are not yet available? Are you beta testing?
That’s right Gisele. I am a beta tester for Topaz. The new settings and adjustments will be in the new Adjust 5. The current version is Adjust 4.
^cool. Do you know if they are still accepting testers? I did beta testing for Elements 10.
I don’t know, Gisele, but you can go here and probably find out:
